The Amsterdam Atrium monumental pivoting walls

Elegance, bearing capacity, and functionality seamlessly come together in the interior design in general and specifically in the grand yet elegant pivoting walls of the New Atrium building in Amsterdam. These center-hung pivoting doors weigh a massive 500kg each but are held in place entirely by a small floor plate that goes only 8mm deep into the floor.
