About the contest
FritsJurgens Asia’s first annual design competition, the Pivot Door Sketch Contest 2025, closed for entries on 31 July 2025. This year, we invited architects, designers, and students to submit their most innovative, creative, and beautiful pivot door designs showcasing the FritsJurgens system.
Each submission was required to feature our pivot system clearly in the sketch with enough precision to make the design feasible for production. We also asked for a concept note or use case to help us understand the vision behind the design.
We’ve opened the door to bold ideas, and the response has been inspiring. Stay tuned to the FritsJurgens ME_SAsia pages for updates on the winners.
Entries submitted after 31 July will be considered for the next edition of the contest.

How to enter
Submit your entry:
Fill out the submission form. After your entry is submitted, your sketch will be checked by the quality control team. We will contact you if further information is needed.
Use high-quality sketches:
Show the design from multiple angles and highlight its unique qualities.
Write a short concept note:
Describe your design, its use, and what inspired it. Tell us where you envision the door being used and why it matters.
Judging round:
Our internal team will review submissions before being presented to a jury of industry leaders and our CEO.

What's in it for you?
Awards and certificates of excellence: The top 10 sketches will receive a certificate, and the top 5 will also receive an award in recognition of their creativity.
Cash prizes: The top 3 winners receive cash prizes
Recognition and exposure: The short-listed and winning projects will be prominently featured across multiple online platforms.
All the valid sketch entries would be submitted in an inspiration book.
