Floor plates
The floor plate is the only visible part of a FritsJurgens pivot hinge system at the foot of the door. It is mounted 8 mm into the floor and determines the space under the door. Choose the shape and finish that suit the door and the floor.

Floor plates for System M+ and System Fx
The squared and round floor plates can be adjusted radially by 2.5° to the left and 2.5° to the right. The Flush floor plates sit level with the floor or threshold.

Floor plates for System One
System One has its own squared floor plate: the floor plate squared non-adjustable. It has the same 80 x 40 x 9 mm footprint as the squared floor plate for System M+ and System Fx, without radial adjustment. The round and Flush floor plates are the same for all three systems.

Radiant floor heating and a pivot door work well together. The heating is usually installed about 5 cm below the floor surface, and a FritsJurgens floor plate goes only 8 mm deep.
Mount the floor plate
A FritsJurgens floor plate can sit on a single floor type or bridge two different ones. The drilling template marks where the 8 mm pins go into the floor. On layered floor materials, the squared floor plates can be mounted with two 30 mm pins instead.
A flush look on interior floors
Floor plate Flush can be milled into an interior floor, even where there is no threshold. It then sits level with the floor and leaves only 7 mm of space under the door.
Weatherproof thanks to electropolishing
Floor plate Flush is electropolished. Electricity and chemicals dissolve the contamination on the surface and form a new, even chromium oxide layer that is much thicker than the original. That layer makes the surface extremely resistant to corrosion, more than any other surface treatment can, and easier to clean.
Designed for drop seals
Floor plate Flush comes in two versions, with rounded or squared corners. Which one to use depends on how the floor plate is built into the threshold. It sits flush with the threshold and takes up no more space than necessary, leaving only 7 mm under the door, so the drop seal only has a short gap to close.
