Adjustability for every pivot door

Damper Control

Soft-close at the end of the closing cycle. The door arrives at the frame quietly, without slam.

30° Speed Control

Adjusts the closing speed through the final 30° to the 0° position, so the door returns at a measured pace instead of rushing the last stretch.

Latch Control

An additional acceleration in the last few degrees, so the door closes firmly into the latch or lock.

Self-closing

Thanks to Damper Control and 30° Speed Control together, the System M+ pivot hinge closes on its own. After being opened, it moves back to the 0° position through one continuous, elegant motion, so the door never stands ajar and never needs pulling shut.

Soft close

Thanks to 30° Speed Control, the door comes to rest in a single fluent motion, as soft as a whisper, so it never slams and never disturbs the quiet of a room.

Wall protection

Damper Control’s hydraulic backcheck slows the door strongly when reaching 70°, preventing it from touching the wall.

Spatial impact

Double acting, holding at 0°, 90° or -90° in either direction, so you decide exactly how open, or closed off, a space feels.

Set into motion with the touch of a finger, an effortless, perfectly balanced movement.

What a System M+ set contains

A complete set consists of four parts. The pivot hinge sits in the door, the plates anchor it to floor and ceiling.

Ceiling plate

Fitted in the ceiling; the top pivot pin fits into it. Available in brushed stainless steel and black.

Top pivot

Mounted into the top of the door via a pinhole connection. Available in Class B and Class G, and as Top pivot Reversed. The Class G version carries a Ø7.5 mm cable entry for wiring through the door.

Bottom pivot

The pivot mechanism and driver of the door, fitted in the bottom side, virtually invisible. Load bearing capacity up to 500 kg. Offers hold positions, self-closing, damper control, latch control, 30° speed control, free swing, depending on the choice of bottom pivot.

Floor plate

Fixed with 8 mm mounting pins, so it can be combined with floor heating. Squared and round come in stainless steel and black; Flush recesses into the door frame and comes in stainless steel.

The bottom pivot named above is where this happens. Here is what sits inside it, and why each part is built the way it is.

1/7 Body

Holds steady. Milled from a single solid block of aluminium, it carries the whole door without flexing, so the movement always begins from something true. CNC-machined anodised aluminium · AL5083

2/7 Mounting brackets

Stays true. High-strength brackets hold the system precisely where it meets the floor, so the door keeps the line it was set to. Extruded high-strength aluminium · AL6066 T66

3/7 Spring damper system

Closes with calm. High-strength pressure springs and a double oil damper guide the door through its entire arc, bringing even a heavy one to a soft, unhurried close. Double oil damper · springs to 4,300 N · Class G

4/7 Pistons

Glides, year after year. A low-friction coating lets the moving parts pass almost without resistance, so the swing stays smooth far into daily use. Nickel-Teflon coated · ultra-low friction

5/7 Camshaft

Never wears. The part that meets the force of every open and close is hardened steel, so the door holds its precise feel instead of loosening over time. Hardened tool steel · 62 HRC

6/7 Bearings

Makes weight feel light. Three bearings share the load between them, spreading the weight so evenly that a substantial door turns at the touch of a hand. Two radial, one axial · up to 500 kg

7/7 Adjustment system

Can be tuned to your door. Three screws set the soft close, the closing speed and the latching to your exact door, and reset them, years on, if anything changes. Three stainless steel adjustment screws
