Project details

Lieben Frauen Halle/Saale

This exceptional pivot door serves as both sculpture and threshold. Installed before the entrance of a historic church, it performs three functions within a 180-degree rotation: opening outward to welcome, parking inward to reveal, or closing in its central position to protect.

By day, the translucent surface becomes a symbol of openness and invitation. By night, it glows from within, turning the façade into a beacon of light.

Fitted with FritsJurgens System M+, the door moves with precise control and silent grace, balancing transparency and solidity, tradition and innovation; an architectural gesture that unites faith, movement, and design.
