Project details

Villa Venezia

In a private villa surrounded by the countryside of Treviso, an architectural intervention was designed to make light the true protagonist of the space. Several steel openings were created to achieve this vision, combining precision engineering with refined design.

At the heart of the project are two large thermally broken steel pivot doors from the AIR-K series by U-Keg Group srl, each measuring 4 meters in height and 2.65 meters in width. Technically complex yet visually light, the doors embody structural rigor and aesthetic clarity.

Their minimal 73 mm profile ensures maximum transparency and continuity between interior and exterior. The pivot movement is powered by FritsJurgens System One, supporting over 400 kilograms with effortless precision. In the upper arch, a custom-engineered structural element was created to accommodate the FritsJurgens Top Pivot 70 mm, allowing the system to integrate seamlessly into the frame while preserving the purity of the design.

The outcome is a composition where structure and design coexist in perfect harmony. Technology becomes part of the architectural language, and light itself becomes the building material.
